Need more Ethernet ports from your Starlink router? The D-Link DGS-105 is a compact, unmanaged 5-port Gigabit desktop switch that lets you connect extra wired devices through your Starlink Ethernet connection.

Use it for access points, desktop computers, printers, cameras, VoIP gear, smart TVs and other network equipment where a stable wired LAN connection is preferred over Wi-Fi.

Starlink compatibility notes

• Starlink Standard (Gen 3 / V4): connect from the router Ethernet port to the D-Link switch.
• Starlink Gen 2: requires the Starlink Ethernet Adapter before connecting to this switch.
• Other Starlink Ethernet setups: suitable wherever you already have an active Starlink Ethernet connection.

Also known as Standard Kit, Standard 4 or V4. Avoid using this switch outdoors unless it is installed inside a dry, protected enclosure.

Installation overview

1. Place the switch on a stable, dry and ventilated surface, or wall-mount it using the supplied mounting hardware.
2. Connect the supplied power adapter to the switch.
3. Connect an Ethernet cable from your Starlink router or Starlink Ethernet Adapter to any port on the switch.
4. Connect your wired devices to the remaining Gigabit Ethernet ports.
5. Check the front LED indicators for link status.
6. Use cable strain relief in caravans, cabinets and equipment bays where cables may move or vibrate.

Need patch cables?

If you need extra Ethernet leads, choose Slim Cat6A patch cables for neat indoor installs or outdoor-rated patch cables for protected external cable runs.

Important notes

• ⚠️ This switch is not weatherproof. Install it only in a dry, protected location.
• ⚠️ This is an unmanaged Ethernet switch. It does not replace a Starlink router or create a separate Wi-Fi network by itself.
• ⚠️ Starlink Gen 2 routers require a Starlink Ethernet Adapter before connecting to this switch.
• ⚠️ Follow electrical safety and local regulations when routing Ethernet and power cables.
