StarPower V4 is a modular PoE injector system for Starlink users who need to replace a failed router, run a third-party router, or build a more flexible home, business, vehicle or remote-site network.
It can be configured as an injector-only setup, a complete injector and 57V power supply kit, or a bundle with the compact Starlink Router Mini. Some Gen 2 setups also require the SPX to RJ45 adapter bundle.

Model guidance
Starlink Standard (Gen 3 / V4): Use StarPower V4 with the original Starlink Standard power pack or choose a bundle with the 57V power supply. This provides power and data delivery in place of the original router path.
Starlink Gen 2 Standard/Actuated: Gen 2 installations require the Gen 2 SPX to RJ45 adapter when connecting the original dish cable to StarPower V4. Do not connect StarPower V4 through the Starlink Gen 2 Ethernet Adapter.
Starlink Mini: Mini setups can use StarPower V4 where you are building a PoE/router-style system. Depending on the setup, you may also require a suitable PoE splitter and patch cable. Choose the router bundle if you want to include the Starlink Router Mini.
Important compatibility notes
- ⚠️ StarPower V4 is not used together with the Starlink Gen 2 Ethernet Adapter.
- ⚠️ Gen 2 setups must use the correct SPX to RJ45 adapter bundle or a professionally modified cable.
- ⚠️ Cutting and crimping Starlink cables is not recommended unless you have the correct tools and experience.
- ✅ For third-party routers such as TP-Link, D-Link, UniFi or Cisco, network setup requirements may vary.
Installation overview
